What to expect

Defense Tech DC 020 is an evening community meetup for people working on national security technology. It brings together innovators, policymakers, government stakeholders, entrepreneurs, and technologists to connect, enjoy a beverage, and meet others in defense innovation. The organizers describe the format as no sponsors, no pitches, and no asks, just community, so expect informal networking rather than a program of talks.

Who should attend

Founders building dual use or defense technology, engineers and technologists interested in national security work, government and policy professionals, and investors and others active in the DC defense innovation community. For founders new to the region, it is a low pressure way to meet people working across the defense tech ecosystem.

Hosts

The event is presented by Defense Tech DC and hosted by Margaret Roth, Stephen Babcock, and Dominic Ventimiglia.
