What to expect
The Maryland Tech Council's Tailgate Networking Event is a casual, outdoor evening for Maryland's life science and technology communities, with food, drinks, music, lawn games, raffles and networking. It takes place in a lit parking lot with indoor restrooms available, and the organizers advise dressing for November weather.
Who should attend
Founders and team members at life science and tech companies in Montgomery County and the wider Maryland region who want a relaxed setting to meet peers, service providers and larger companies. MTC member companies can also reserve their own tailgate space to raise visibility.
Tickets and company spaces
- Individual registration: $40 for MTC members, $60 for non-members. Includes admission, food, drinks, entertainment, raffle eligibility and networking.
- Company 10x10 tailgate space (MTC members only): $300, including 5 complimentary registrations. Extra attendees are $30 each.
- Spaces have no electricity. Companies bring their own tents, tables, chairs and setup, and may decorate, bring merchandise and run activities or giveaways.

Venue and access
Outdoor parking lot at the Minkoff Property, 20501 Seneca Meadows, Germantown, MD 20876. The event runs 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM.
