What to expect
District Angels, a volunteer-led investing community focused on the DMV, holds a monthly virtual deal room where it reviews top early-stage startups from its pipeline. This is the November session. It is a live, interactive call rather than a webinar.
Format
- Lightning intros from new angels in the room
- A deep dive into three startups, with live founder Q and A followed by a closed-door investor discussion
- Pipeline deals that attendees can help diligence alongside District Angels Fellows and the internal team
Each company is reviewed for risk, market size, timing and founder strengths, with open discussion of what is working, what is not and where upside may lie. Pre-read materials are shared before the call. The featured startups had not been named on the event page at the time of writing.
Who should attend
Angels, syndicates and early-stage investors, including other angel groups looking for co-syndication. It is an investor event, not an open pitch night. Founders new to the DMV can still use it to learn how a local angel group evaluates companies, or to reach District Angels about getting into the pipeline for a future session.

The session runs on Zoom. The meeting link is provided after registration.
