What to expect

STATION DC and the National Security Commission on Emerging Biotechnology (NSCEB) are hosting an afternoon on what happens to U.S. biotech policy after the Commission's authority ends on December 31. In April 2025 the Commission called for $15 billion over five years for U.S. biotechnology leadership, and the event asks who carries that work into 2027, framed around the roles of Congress, industry and capital.

The program runs from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Tuesday, November 17, 2026, with a reception from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM hosted by With Honor, a cross-partisan organization focused on bipartisan legislation and veteran leadership in Congress. The full agenda has not been released. The page says Commission leadership, members of Congress, founders and investors will attend. The event is open to press.
